Karthikeya 2 Box Office: Jump Of 300 Percent In Collections

Karthikeya 2 Box Office: The strings of ‘Karthikeya 2’ are associated with Lord Krishna, and the number of shows on Janmashtami increased to 3 thousand.

The craze for Telugu language film Kartikeya 2 is increasing in the Hindi belt and in view of this, its shows in theaters have increased.

Kartikeya 2 is an adventure film, whose strings are associated with the Dwapar Yuga of Lord Krishna.

In such a situation, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, in view of the possibility of getting more viewers for this film, a step has been taken to increase the shows.

The lead actor of the film Nikhil Siddharth has shared this information and expressed happiness over the success of the film among the Hindi audience.

Last week, the Hindi version of Kartikeya 2 was aired on nearly 50 screens with a lull between big films like Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan.

In the opening weekend itself, seeing a jump of 300 percent in the collections of the film, its screens were increased and after six days the film is now being shown on 1000 screens in the Hindi belt.

Presently around 3000 shows of the film are running in theatres. With this information, Nikhil appealed to the audience to come to theaters this weekend and celebrate the film.

Karthikeya 2 Box Office: Hindi version got 5.75 crores in the first week.

Last Saturday, Kartikeya 2 collected only Rs 7 lakh in the Hindi belt. On Sunday, this amount went up to 28 lakhs and on Monday, on the Independence Day holiday, the film had a net collection of 1.10 crores.

The film’s collections stood at 1.28 crores on Tuesday.

The film collected a net collection of 1.38 crores on Wednesday and 1.64 crores on Thursday, taking the net collection of Kartikeya 2 to 5.75 crores in the Hindi belt.

This collection shows the acceptability of the film. Now, this weekend has become very important for the film and big business is expected.

Kartikeya 2 in the Hindi belt has benefited from the failures of Lal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan. Audiences who went to the theaters to watch the film got an additional option.

Today (August 19) Taapsee Pannu’s film Dobara Bhi has released in theaters, directed by Anurag Kashyap, but this film is for a limited audience only.

Amidst the dilapidated condition of Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan, Kartikeya 2 has every chance to increase the collections.

Kartikeya 2 also stars Anupam Kher along with Nikhil and Anupama Parameswaran. However, Anupam has done only a cameo.

The Hindi trailer of the film was launched by The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri.
