Karnataka Govt gave financial help for the development of the historical places of Kittur, allocated Rs 10 crore.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa allocated an amount of Rs 10 crore and approved the action plan in the Kittur Development Authority meeting on Tuesday.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), an amount of Rs 50 crore was allocated in the budget for the development of the historical places of Kittur.

Under this, a memorial of Rani Chennamma will be constructed, along with the development of Chowki Matt Gadduge, as well as the construction of a replica of the palace of Kitturu province.

The CMO said, ‘Display board will be installed for the development of Chennamma’s Samadhi, the construction of a statue of Belavadi Mallamma and to tell her life and history.’

Karnataka: Deputy Chief Minister’s son’s car rams into a farmer, dies.

A 56-year-old farmer died after his car rammed into the car of Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi’s son Chidananda.

The deceased has been identified as Kodleppa Boli, a resident of Chikkahandagal village in Bagalkot district.

After the accident, the farmer was admitted to a private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police have registered a case against Hanumant Singh Rajput, the driver of Chidanand. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.

According to the information, the accident of Chidanand’s car took place near Kudalsangam cross on National Highway-50 near Hungund town late on Monday evening.

Then the farmer was returning home from the fields on his bike.

Police said the car belonged to Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi’s son Chidanand, but no evidence has been found that Chidanand was driving the car.

Ghaziabad Police are unwilling to probe Twitter India’s role: Karnataka High Court.

The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday said that the Ghaziabad Police is not inclined to probe the role of Manish Maheshwari, MD of Twitter India in the controversial viral video shared on Twitter.

The person who shared the controversial video had claimed that an elderly man was forced to say ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Vande Mataram’, failing which his beard was cut off.

The next hearing of the case will take place on Wednesday.
