Kanpur Violence: Crowdfunding accused builder Haji Vasi’s son was arrested, and many secrets were revealed during interrogation.
On June 3, after Friday prayers, the police arrested Abdul Rehman, the son of builder Haji Wasi, accused of crowdfunding, in the case of violence in the Nai Sadak area of Beconganj police station area.
Wasi’s son Abdul Rehman has been sent to jail by the SIT. An FIR was also registered against Rahman in the violence case.
According to sources, during interrogation, Rahman revealed many secrets related to violence in front of the SIT.
On the basis of the interrogation of Rehman, the police raided many more places till late Sunday night. Although the accused builder Vasi is still absconding.
Let us inform you that two days back, SIT had taken Rehman into custody for interrogation. After which now he has also been arrested.
On the other hand, the police are continuously tightening the noose on the accused builder Haji Vasi in crowdfunding.
During the raid in search of the builder, the police detained many of his close friends for questioning. The SIT interrogated Vasi’s close friends in the South Commissionerate police station overnight.

The SIT team seems to be tightening the noose on the family members of Mukhtar Baba, the owner of the biryani shop, another accused of crowdfunding.
Two teams of police are continuously raiding in search of the daughter of Mukhtar Baba, who is in jail. The police have so far questioned many people including the daughter-in-law’s in-laws.
Significantly, the SIT probing the case of Kanpur violence is continuously making arrests. The investigation so far has revealed that the violence was done under planning.
For this, stone pelters were called by paying money. The stone-pelters were funded 500 to 1000 rupees. Funding has been accused by Mukhtar Baba and builder Haji Vasi.
