Intelligence Alert: Jaish Plotting Vehicle Bomb & Suicide Attacks Across Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, and Multiple States
A new intelligence alert warns that Jaish-e-Mohammed is preparing vehicle bombs and suicide attacks in Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, and several other states. Security tightened.
Intelligence Agencies Issue High-Level Alert as Jaish Plans Vehicle Bomb & Suicide Attacks in Multiple States. India’s intelligence agencies have issued a high-risk national security alert after uncovering a major terror plot by Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). According to the latest intelligence assessment, the Pakistan-backed terror group is preparing vehicle-borne explosive attacks and suicide missions in Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.
This alert follows growing signs that Jaish is attempting to recreate the Pulwama-style attack that shook the nation in 2019. Security officials believe the group is acting out of frustration after its core network suffered heavy losses during Operation Sindoor, which resulted in the elimination of several JeM operatives and even family members of senior commanders. The crackdown has forced the group to plan a large retaliation.
Intelligence Alert: Pulwama-Like Attack Suspected in South Kashmir
According to intelligence inputs, South Kashmir remains the most vulnerable. Agencies warn that JeM may deploy a suicide bomber with an explosive-laden vehicle, similar to the attack on the CRPF convoy in Lethpora, Pulwama, on February 14, 2019.
The modus operandi—using a vehicle bomb or a suicide squad targeting a busy public space or vital security installation—strongly resembles previous JeM strategies. Multiple communication intercepts and ground-based sources indicate that the terror group is actively scouting targets and may strike without warning.
ISI’s Direct Approval Confirmed
Intelligence sources have confirmed that the entire operation has been sanctioned at the highest level by Pakistan’s ISI, which continues to provide logistical and financial support to Jaish. The plot appears to be coordinated across several regions, making it one of the most expansive terror plans in recent years.
Officials warn that the group may attempt to carry out simultaneous or sequential attacks to create widespread fear and disruption.
Intelligence Alert: Security Intensified Across Vulnerable Regions
Following the intelligence alert, security has been significantly heightened in Jammu & Kashmir. Patrols have been increased in sensitive urban and rural zones, particularly in areas previously targeted by terror networks.
Authorities have also launched vehicle surveillance operations, with strict checking of cars, trucks, and two-wheelers on national highways, border roads, and other major transport routes. A comprehensive database of stolen vehicles from recent months is being compiled to identify any automobiles that could be converted into vehicle bombs.
The government has directed district administrations to ban unauthorized vehicle parking at markets, religious places, transport hubs, and government buildings.
In addition, police station in-charges across targeted states have been instructed to maintain continuous monitoring, report all suspicious movement, and coordinate instantly with higher authorities.
Nationwide Vigilance at Peak
The alert underscores the seriousness of the threat and the need for public cooperation. Authorities have urged citizens to stay vigilant, avoid suspicious vehicles or objects, and immediately report unusual behavior.

With Jaish-e-Mohammed attempting to regroup after setbacks, intelligence agencies believe the next few weeks are critical for national security. Continuous monitoring, strict border surveillance, and rapid response mechanisms are currently in place to neutralize any imminent threat.
