ISRO Planning To Launch A New Rocket Before December

ISRO planning to launch a new rocket before December, the test required in November. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) planning to launch its new rocket ‘Small Satellite Launch Vehicle’ (SSLV) before December 2020.

A senior official said on Tuesday that the necessary tests would be done in November to test its largest motor – solid-fueled booster motor.

ISRO Director Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) S.K. Somnath informed that the launch of the SSLV will take place from the first launch pad of the Sriharikota rocket port after the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C49 (PSSV C49) flight.

The launch pad is to be conformed to SSLV after the PSLV C49 flight. Somnath said that PSLV C49 will be flying with about 10 satellites (satellites) next month. The rocket will carry India’s RISAT-2 BR2 and other commercial satellites.

ISRO is engaged in reviving stalled activities due to the COVID epidemic. More than a dozen satellites will be sent into space via three rockets. In this connection, a virtual launch control center has been set up to release rockets from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

The center is built at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram. From here the rocket is being tested in Sriharikota via remote and so will the launching.

ISRO has said that during the Corona transition, the agency has prepared an option for virtual launching to send at least one person to Sriharikota in the satellite launching process. Due to this, the work of testing of rockets is currently being done from the Virtual Launch Control Center at VSSC.

S Somnath has stated that three rockets are ready for launching at Sriharikota. The first rocket PSLV C 49 will be launched someday in November. Ten satellites will be released through this.

It will carry India’s RISAT-2 BR2 and other commercial satellites. After this, PSLV C50 will be released in December and GSAT-12R will be released about a month after that.

Parts of all these rockets were transported from various ISRO centers there, but these rockets were built in Sriharikota itself. The entire process has been directed by VSSC.
