IS targets a village in northeast Baghdad, 11 killed and nine injured: Iraq.

Gunmen from the Islamic State extremist group attacked a village northeast of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 11 civilians and injuring six.

According to the information received from the authorities, this attack took place in the village of Shia Muslims.

The villagers told the officials that first the terrorists kidnapped two villagers and attacked the village when the ransom demanded by them was not paid.

Attacks on Islamic State militants decreased significantly after the country was defeated in 2017. However, they remained active in most areas through sleeper cells.

Earlier in July, there was a roadside explosion in which 30 people were killed and dozens were injured.

It is noteworthy that recently Iraq claimed to have detained the top leader of the terrorist organization Islamic State and a member of al-Qaeda’s cross-border operation for a long time.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi tweeted that the arrested person was identified as Sami Jasim. This terrorist has worked with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

It is noteworthy that Iraq, located in the Middle East, has faced violence for a long time. The people here have been facing war, sometimes terrorist attacks, and sometimes the terror of Islamic State fighters.

So far a large number of people have lost their lives due to terrorist attacks in Iraq.

Cyberattack on gas stations in Iran, fuel sales centers across the country stalled.

There is news of a possible cyberattack on a gas station in Iran. Due to this, fuel sales centers across the country have come to a standstill.

According to the information, the sale has to be stopped due to a defect in the software that controls the system of fuel subsidy. It has been called a cyberattack by the semi-official news agency there.

The country’s state-run TV channel shared photos in which cars can be seen standing in long lines outside a gas agency in Tehran.

An Associated Press reporter also saw lines of cars at the Tehran gas station, where pumps and stations were closed.

State TV did not say what the problem was but said oil ministry officials were holding an emergency meeting to resolve the technical issue.
