IRE vs AFG: Afghanistan’s crushing defeat before Asia Cup, lower ranked team wins.

Rashid Khan is considered to be the legendary bowler of T20. This veteran player of Afghanistan is currently on a tour of Ireland with the team.

However, Afghanistan’s start in the 5-match T20 series has not been good. In the first match, they lost by 7 wickets against hosts Ireland.

In the match, Afghanistan had scored 168 runs for 7 wickets while playing first.

In response, Ireland achieved the target with one ball remaining for the loss of 3 wickets with the help of half-centuries from Lorcan Tucker and captain Andy Balbrini.

IRE vs AFG: The second match of the series is to be played tomorrow.

This is an important series for the Afghan team in terms of preparations for the T20 Asia Cup starting on August 27.

Ireland started chasing the target well. Paul Stirling and Andy Balbrini gave the team a quick start. Both shared 61 runs for the first wicket in 7.3 overs.

Sterling fell victim to off-spinner Mohammad Nabi after scoring 31 off 29 balls. Ballerini also put on a half-century partnership with Lorcan Tucker for the second wicket.

Meanwhile, Ballerini was dismissed after scoring 51 runs off 38 balls. Hit 5 fours and a six.

Tucker played an explosive inning.

Tucker was dismissed for 50 off 32 balls. Hit 6 fours and a six. The strike rate was 156. The team had to score 23 runs in the last 2 overs.

The 19th over was bowled by left-arm fast bowler Fazlhaq Farooqui. Harry Tector hit a six on the second ball. A total of 10 runs were scored in the over.

Now 13 runs were to be scored in 6 balls. The bowler was fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq. Tektar hit a four in this over.

At the same time, on the fourth and fifth balls, Dockrell gave the team victory by hitting fours. Tektar remained unbeaten on 25 off 15 balls while Dockrell remained unbeaten on 10 off 5 balls.

Earlier, Afghanistan had scored 168 for 7 with the help of Usman Ghani’s half-century. Ghani scored 59 runs off 42 balls. Hit 6 fours and 2 sixes.

Apart from this, Ibrahim Zadran scored an unbeaten 29 off 18 balls. Hit one four and two sixes. Rahmatullah Gurbaz also scored 26 runs off 22 balls.
