IPL 2021 MI vs SRH: Mumbai’s journey ends with victory, beat Hyderabad by 42 runs.

IPL 2021 MI vs SRH: In the 55th match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians faced Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first against Hyderabad.

On the basis of stormy half-centuries from Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, the team made a huge score of 235 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.

In Jawav, Hyderabad could only manage 193 runs for 8 wickets, Mumbai won the match by 42 runs.

Even after winning the last league match, the team could not make it to the playoffs. Kolkata and Mumbai had 14 points each but KKR won on the basis of a better run rate.

Teams from Chennai, Delhi, and Bangalore had already confirmed their place in the playoffs.

Hyderabad lost even after a good start.

Jason Rai and Abhishek Sharma made a quick start for Hyderabad in front of a huge target from Mumbai. Together they played a half-century partnership for the team.

After scoring 34 off 21 balls, Roy was caught by Krunal Pandya off Trent Boult. Abhishek also scored 33 runs and was caught by James Neesham off Coulter-Nile.

Immediately after this, Mohammad Nabi became the victim of Piyush Chawla playing the first match for Mumbai by scoring 3 runs.

By dismissing Abdul Samad for 2 runs, Neesham gave Hyderabad the fourth blow.

Manish Pandey held one end and completed his half-century off 30 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. Priyam Garg was dismissed for 29 off 21 balls by Jasprit Bumrah.

Big score for Mumbai Indians.

Young Ishan Kishan opened the innings along with captain Rohit Sharma for the Mumbai team in a do-or-die match.

Taking big shots from the first ball, Ishan gave the team a quick start. This batsman made his fifty in just 16 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes.

It was the fastest fifty by any batsman to date for the Mumbai team. Rohit got out after scoring 18 runs while the team got the second blow in the form of Hardik Pandya.

The team got the second blow in the form of Hardik when he was caught by Jason Holder on the ball of Jason Holder for 10 runs.

After this, Usman Malik, who threw the fastest ball in the tournament, got Ishan Kishan, who was batting stormy, caught behind the wicket at the hands of Wriddhiman Saha on the score of 84 runs.

Krunal Pandya was dismissed for 9 runs by Rashid Khan.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 82 runs off 40 balls and was caught by Mohammad Nabi off Jason Holder. He hit 13 fours and 3 sixes.

Both the teams have landed in today’s match with changes. Manish Pandey is captaining Hyderabad in place of Kane Williamson.
