Instructions Of FIR Against Three Including Sirsa And Raina

Instructions of FIR against three including Sirsa and Raina, Police also asked to file a status report by July 12.

A trial court in Srinagar has directed the police to register an FIR against three people.

These including Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa and BJP state president Ravindra Raina, in connection with the statements made on alleged love jihad-conversion in Kashmir.

Along with this, the status report has also been asked to be filed by July 12.

The court has given this direction on Monday on a petition filed by Nasir Khuhemy, spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Students’ Association.

Instructions of FIR: Nasser Khuhemi filed the petition on Saturday.

In this, he had urged to register an FIR against Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa and state BJP President Ravindra Raina, and a youth named Aman Bali, who is active on internet media.

He has urged for strict action by registering a case against these three on issues like disturbing the peace, disturbing communal harmony.

According to Nasir Khuhemi, we had tried to register an FIR first in Bandipora and then in a police station in Srinagar, but the police instead of registering the FIR, postponed it.

It is noteworthy that in the past, there were cases of three to four Sikh girls being trapped in the clutches of love jihad in Kashmir, marrying them and allegedly converting them.

Due to this the Sikhs of Kashmir got angry and came out on the road. Meanwhile, Manjinder Singh Sirsa reached Srinagar with a delegation of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.

During this, he had given many statements regarding the so-called injustice being done to the Sikhs in Kashmir.

This was strongly objected to by the local Muslims. State BJP chief Ravindra Raina had also objected to the conversion of Sikh girls.

Nasser Khuhemy, while filing the petition in the court, said that apart from the Sikh leader and BJP leader.

The statement and reaction expressed by Aman Bali, active on internet media, are highly objectionable.

This threatens not only to disturb the communal harmony but also to threaten the lives of Kashmiris living outside Kashmir.

Student leader Nasir had filed his petition in the court last Saturday. On this, the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Srinagar has issued instructions to the police on Monday.

The court has asked the in-charge of Sadar police station to register a case against Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravindra Raina, and Aman Bali and submit the full report of the case by July 12.
