Indian Batsmen Faded In Front Of Hazelwood And Cummins

Indian batsmen faded in front of Hazelwood and Cummins, this happened in Test cricket after 96 years.

The Indian team’s position in the Adelaide Test match was very good in the first innings and it seemed that on the third day of the match.

Team India would do something that might even win, but Australian fast bowlers Jose Heidelwood and Pat Cummins bowled that the team India batsmen got upset.

In the second innings, hardly anyone would have thought that this will be the fate of Indian batsmen.

A spectacular batting line-up disintegrating in such a manner proves how dangerous the Kangaroo bowlers bowled.

On the third day of the match, the fast bowlers of the host team took full advantage of the pitch and beat the Indian batsmen badly and the whole team could score 36 runs for 9 wickets.

However, Shami retired and was unable to bat again. The bowling of the bowlers of Indian batsmen, Pat Cummins and Jose Hedlewood, was worth watching.

While Hazlewood took 5 wickets for 8 runs in 5 overs and bowled three maiden overs in it, Pat Cummins took 4 wickets for 21 runs in 10.2 overs and bowled 4 overs.

None of India’s 11 batsmen touched a double-digit figure. In the second innings, India fell 9 wickets Mayank scored the highest 9 runs.

In the history of Test cricket after 1924, it happened that no batsman could touch the figure of ten.

In 1924, South Africa were all out for 30 against England at Edgbaston, and not a single batsman could touch the figure of ten.

In this match, the highest score for South Africa was made by Harbor Taylor, who was 7 runs, while the number of extra runs was 11.

At the same time, after 1924, 96 years, India made such a record in its name. India scored 36 for 9 wickets in the second innings of Adelaide against England in 2020, but the extra runs were not one.
