Indian Army Will Not Conduct Military Exercises In Russia

Indian Army will not conduct military exercises with China and Pakistan forces in Russia, know the reason. Taking a major step forward due to the ongoing conflict with China in eastern Ladakh, India has distanced itself from a joint military exercise to be held in Russia next month. Soon Russia will be informed that the Indian Army will not participate in this exercise. China and Pakistan have to be involved in this military exercise between several countries.

Decision taken in high level meeting

Sources said, ‘A high level meeting was held in this regard in South Block, in which External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat were present. It was decided that it is not right to participate in such multilateral military exercises, where the soldiers of China and Pakistan will also be present. Sources say that the way the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is in conflict with China, military exercises with them are not appropriate.

Russia invited

Russia invited India to participate in this multilateral military exercise with a contingent of its three armies. Members of the Shanghai Co-Operation Organization (SCO) and Central Asian countries will participate in it. SCO member countries include China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan

Rajnath will not talk to Chinese Defense Minister

Sources said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh would go to Russia to attend the meeting of the SCO Defense Ministers which is going to be held from September 4-6. However, his talks with the Chinese counterpart during this period are not expected. It is being told that India will raise the issue of China’s expansionary policy on the border in the meeting.

Violent skirmish worsens the situation

The border between India and China has been under stress for the past few months. The violent clash between the soldiers of the two countries in Galvan on 15 June further aggravated the situation. In this skirmish, 21 Indian soldiers were awarded to Veergati. China did not reveal the number of its soldiers killed in the skirmish. However, according to some reports, 40 of his soldiers were killed in the clash.
