After this, in the second fortnight of next month, seven to eight fighter aircraft and their trainer version will be available. With this, our firepower will increase further.

Sources said that all these aircraft from France will arrive at Ambala Air Base. From there, some of these will be sent to Hashimara, where the process of formation of the second squadron of Rafale fighter jets has already been started.

Hashimara is a strategic base for operations of the Air Force as it is close to Bhutan and Chumbi Valley. In the Chumbi Valley itself, the tri-junction between India, Bhutan, and China.
