India overtook the US and China in vaccinating at a fast pace, it took only 110 days to deliver 16.24 million doses.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against Corona in the country, more than 16.24 crore doses of vaccines have been given.

Giving this information, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that India has overtaken the US and China in applying the vaccine at a fast pace. It took both these countries more time to achieve this goal.

Vaccine applied to 9.02 lakh people in 18 plus age group.

The ministry said that in 12 states and union territories of the country, the campaign to give Corona vaccine to people aged 18 plus has started, under which 9,02,731 beneficiaries of this age group have taken the first dose of the vaccine so far.

According to the data released by the ministry, a total of 16,24,30,828 doses of corona vaccine have been given so far in the country.

There are 94,79,901 health workers who have taken the first dose of the vaccine while 63,52,975 health workers have taken both doses.

At the same time, 1,36,49,661 employees posted on the advance front have taken the first dose of the vaccine while 74,12,888 employees have taken both the vaccine doses.

The first dose was given to 5,37,95,272 people in the age group of 45 to 60.

Similarly, the first dose has been given to 5,37,95,272 people in the age group of 45 to 60 and the second dose to 48,29.091 people.

Whereas 5,31,09,064 people have been given the first dose and 1,28,99,245 people have been given both doses above 60 years of age.

States have more than 94 lakh vaccines: Center.

According to the Ministry of Health, there are still 94,47,614 doses of corona vaccine left with the states and union territories. 36,37,030 doses will be provided to states and union territories within the next three days.
