Legendary Canadian businessman and chairman of Testbed Kirk Lubimov has posted a long post on the social media site X. In this, he has criticized Donald Trump’s decision to impose 25 percent tariffs on India and has described PM Modi as a very popular leader in the world.
‘India is the fastest-growing economy in the world’
Kirk Lubimov wrote, ‘I have said it before, and I will say it again. The biggest problem with Donald Trump’s tariff approach is that it does not take into account the geopolitical strategy at all. Trump is now fighting India, which is one of the world’s fastest-growing economies.’
He further wrote, ‘Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most respected in the world and has influence in many countries. The real motive is to weaken the dominance and growth of China and BRICS. India is a part of it, but it can be a natural country to transfer production from China.’

India Is the Future: Kirk Lubimov quipped that America is not going to make toothbrushes for 50 cents.
He said that instead of using India’s hammer and nail, we should support it economically, and Canada should also be brought along in this, so that we can help in meeting the need for natural resources.
