Hyderabad Painted Saffron For BJP’s National Executive Meeting

Hyderabad painted saffron for BJP’s national executive meeting, but the party got a setback in the municipal corporation.

The BJP’s two-day national executive meeting will be held in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, from Saturday.

The arrival of leaders has started for this convention to be held at the International Convention Center. BJP President JP Nadda is likely to reach on Friday.

The whole city is seen painted in saffron color. The news agency quoted party sources as saying that a mega roadshow has been planned to welcome the BJP president.

This roadshow will be from the airport in Shamsabad to about one kilometer.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend this conference. He will reach Hyderabad on 2 July and return on 4 July morning.

Apart from the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, and national level leaders of all BJP-ruled states will also be present.

PM will also address the rally at Parade Ground on July 3. For the convention, BJP has put up hoarding banners from place to place in Hyderabad city.

Cutouts of big leaders like PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President Nadda have been installed. The whole city seems to be painted saffron in a way.

This session of the BJP’s national executive is being held at a time when assembly elections are to be held in Telangana in 2023.

This time the focus of the BJP is on the South. In Telangana, it is expected to get an edge over the ruling TRS.

However, before the executive meeting, the BJP got a setback when 4 councilors joined the TRS in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

Apart from these leaders, in the presence of TRS working president KT Rama Rao, the floor leader of BJP in Tandur Municipal Corporation also joined TRS.

According to the Indian Express, on this development in GHMC, Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said on the leaders leaving the party that it has helped in cleaning up the party.

He said that when these corporators were rejected by other political parties, the BJP had fielded them. He won only because he joined BJP and our party supported him.

Now it does not matter that he has resigned, because the support of the BJP has increased rapidly among the people.
