After the cinematic lockout from 15 October in Corona Virus Pandemic ended, Hollywood most popular movie Tenet was released in India on 4 December.
In view of the situation, Tenet has made a good collection in the opening weekend. If the coronavirus had not been pandemic, this film by Christopher Nolan could have been a record collection at the box office.
Tenet was released in the US in August and the UK in September, but could not be released here due to the closure of theaters in India.
According to trade experts, Tenet has done a gross collection of about 5 crores in the opening weekend of December 4-6.
The film, which was released on more than 1100 screens, took an opening of 1-2 crores, which is fine.
Let us know that theaters have been opened since October 15, but have been opened with 50 per cent audience, which means that the number of seats in theaters has been halved.
Tenet’s collections have given positive signals to the film industry.
Tenet stars John David Washington and Robert Pattinson in lead roles. Indian cinema veteran Dimple Kapadia is playing a very special role in this film. This is Dimple’s debut.
Akshay Kumar wrote a message for Dimple on Twitter after the release of the film- This is my proud Damad Wala moment.
Christopher Nolan has written a heartfelt message for Dimple Kapadia on the eve of the film’s release.
If I were in his place, I would be lost in his aura, but I am very happy to see him working at Tenet and feel proud of his mother.
According to the Forbes website, Tenet did a $ 350 million worldwide business. Dimple has played a Mumbai based arms dealer in Tenet. Parts of the film were also shot in Mumbai.
