Holi 2024: Malpua.
Malpua is made in many homes on Holi, especially in the regions of UP and Bihar. It is very easy to make this delicious sweet puri. To make this, mix flour, semolina, and khoya in a bowl.
After this, add some water to it and make its batter. Keep in mind that the batter should not be too thick or too thin.
After this add cardamom powder and mix well. After this, heat oil in a pan, pour the batter into a round shape and fry it.
After frying well, keep the pua aside for some time, so that the extra oil gets removed. After this, put it in the syrup and take it out after 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and Malpua is ready to serve.
Holi 2024: Gujia.
Gujiya is also one of the most famous dishes made in Holi. It is made in different flavors like Mawa, Bhang, Coconut, Chocolate Gujiya etc.
It is very easy to make this tasty sweet. To make this, chop dry fruits in semolina and khoya and fry them. When this mixture is ready, knead the dough.
Keep in mind that the dough is soft. After this, roll the dough balls and fill them with semolina or khoya mixture and put them in a shape maker and shape them.
Remove extra flour and fry. Your Gujiya is ready. You can fill the stuffing with whatever flavor you want to make Gujiya.
Dahi Bhalla.
This is a very special dish made on Holi. People like it a lot because of its sweet and sour taste. To make this, soak urad and moong dal for a night.
After this, grind it and add cumin and chironji to it. After this, shape the batter into a ball and deep fry it in oil. Now it’s time to make chutney.
To make its chutney, soak tamarind in water for half an hour. After this, take out its pulp and heat it with sugar in a pan.

Namakpara.
Namakpara is exactly like Shakkarpara in preparation, but its taste is salty rather than sweet.
To make this, mix salt and ghee in flour, knead it, and cut it into square shapes. After this, heat oil in a pan and deep fry these pieces in it. Namakpara is ready.
Rasmalai.
Rasmalai is such a sweet, that hardly anyone likes to eat. To make this sweet, boil milk add lemon to it, and tear it.
When the milk curdles, tie it in a cotton cloth and hang it. When all the extra water is gone, mash it to make it very fine and make small balls in round shape.
After this, make a sugar syrup dip it in it, and leave it for some time. Meanwhile, boil milk in a pan add some saffron threads and dry fruits to it, and boil until the milk reduces to half the quantity.
After this, take out chenna balls from the syrup and put them in milk. Keep it aside for half an hour, so that the milk can be absorbed properly. Garnish with dry fruits and Rasmalai is ready.
Puran Poli.
Puran Poli is a Marathi dish, which many people make even on the occasion of Holi. To make this, mix boiled lentils in ghee and fry it for three minutes.
After this add jaggery, cardamom powder, fennel powder, ginger powder, and nutmeg powder.
After this, cook the dal for a few more minutes and then remove it from the gas and leave it to cool for some time. When the dal cools down, mash it.
Now knead flour, turmeric, oil, and salt well. After this, divide it into some parts and keep it. After this, press one part lightly make a space in the middle, and fill the mixture of gram and jaggery in it.
