Heavy Rains Lashed Shivamogga And Malnad In Karnataka

Heavy rains lashed Shivamogga and Malnad in Karnataka late on Wednesday night.

Rain in the states of South India, rain in Shivamogga, and Malnad in Karnataka know the condition.

The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in some parts of the country in the next three days.

IMD’s bulletin said that a Western Disturbance is likely to affect the north-western parts of India from November 18.

At present, two low-pressure areas and two cyclonic circulations are present over India.

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area lies over the southeast Bay of Bengal.

Heavy rains lashed Shivamogga: It is expected to move almost westwards and reach the southwest Bay of Bengal adjoining AP, North Tamil Nadu coasts on November 18.

At the same time, another low-pressure area is located in the east-central. It is associated with an area of ​​low pressure over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the east-central Arabian Sea.

Due to these conditions, heavy rainfall will continue over other states and union territories including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.

IMD has forecast light rain with isolated heavy falls at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh coasts for the next four days.

Also, there is a possibility of rain in Kerala for the next three days. Heavy rains will continue in Karnataka for the next 2 days.

Heavy rain is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal and coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh on the 17th and 19th. While there is a possibility of heavy rain in Rayalaseema on the 19th.

For November 18, heavy rain is very likely over Rayalaseema, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, and Andhra Pradesh Coasts.

According to the Meteorological Department, gusty winds reaching 40-60 kmph are very likely to prevail over west-central and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal as well as south Andhra Pradesh-north Tamil Nadu coasts from November 17-19.

The Meteorological Department has further said that there is a possibility of strong winds along with the coastal areas of Maharashtra on November 18 and around the East-central Arabian Sea between November 19 and 21.
