HDFC Bank Result: Bank’s Net Profit Increased By 14.36 Percent

HDFC Bank Result: The bank’s net profit increased 14.36 percent to Rs 8,760 crore in the December quarter. Private sector giant HDFC Bank has released its results for the third quarter of the current financial year 2020-21 on Saturday. The bank’s profit has increased in the December quarter.

The consolidated net profit of the bank for the December quarter stood at Rs 8,760 crore, up 14.36 per cent. The bank had a net profit of Rs 7,416.48 crore in the year-ago period.

At standalone level, the company’s net profit in the third quarter increased by 18.09 per cent to Rs 8,758.29 crore.

HDFC Bank Result: The bank’s net interest income stood at Rs 16,317.6 crore during the December quarter with an increase of 15.1 per cent year-on-year.

The company’s total income on a standalone basis has increased to Rs 37,522 crore. It was Rs 36,039 crore in the year-ago period. HDFC Bank’s gross NPA ratio for the December quarter stood at 0.81 percent.

The bank said that the NPA ratio was 1.42 per cent in the same period a year ago. At the same time, it was 1.08 percent in the September 2020 quarter.

The bank’s total revenue during the period under review was Rs 23,760.8 crore with a jump.
