HDFC Bank launches ‘Shaurya KGC Card’ for the armed forces before Independence Day, know what are its features. HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private sector bank, has launched a special card for the armed forces before Independence Day.

The release issued by the bank said that “Shaurya KGC Card” comes with unique features. The bank claims that it is the first of its kind card launched for the armed forces. According to the bank, this card comes with special features for over 4.5 million armed forces of India.

This product is based on the government’s Kisan Credit Card guidelines.

Life cover of Rs 10 lakh is available on this card.

The process for this card has been kept very easy and the card applicant does not need to be present in person.

Armed forces personnel will be able to use Shaurya KGC card to avail finance facility for agricultural work needs. Apart from this, they will be able to use the finance received through this card for the development of agricultural equipment, irrigation equipment and storage structures.

The bank has said that this loan facility has been designed keeping in mind the financial needs of the armed forces.
