Grenade Explosion In Faryab Province Of Afghanistan

Grenade explosion in Faryab province of Afghanistan, 1 killed, four injured: Blast In Afghanistan.

One person was killed and four people, including women and children, were injured in a grenade explosion by Taliban members in northern Afghanistan’s Faryab province recently.

The grenade explosion, in Police District 2 of the city of Maimana, the provincial capital of Faryab, Khama Press, citing officials, said that two people have been detained for the grenade explosion.

However, Taliban government security officials in Faryab province said the grenade was thrown “accidentally” and that the incident was not a conspiracy crime.

According to Khama Press, two Taliban men were on a motorcycle when the grenade pin unintentionally came out, prompting them to throw the grenade.

The incident resulted in the death of one person in Faryab province as his injuries caused by the grenade explosion were serious and three others, including a man, two women, and a child, were injured.

At present, the incident is being investigated.

In recent months, there have been several explosions in the capital, Kabul, in which dozens of innocent lives have been lost.

Earlier on Monday, an explosion took place near the consular department gate of the Russian embassy in Kabul, killing ten people and injuring several others.

The blast comes days after at least 20 people were killed in an explosion at a mosque during Friday prayers in northwestern Afghanistan.

There have been frequent bombings in Afghanistan since the tyrannical regime of the Taliban.

Rights groups said the terrorist organization broke several promises of respecting human and women’s rights.

After the capture of Kabul in August last year, Islamic authorities imposed restrictions on the rights of women and girls, suppressed the media, and arbitrarily detained, tortured, and killed critics and alleged opponents.

Rights groups say there has been widespread condemnation of the Taliban’s human rights abuses and hindered international efforts to address the country’s dire humanitarian situation.
