Government Issued Guidelines For Coronavirus Prevention

Government issued guidelines for virus prevention in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. The central government is now gearing up amid the transition of the growing Corona in the country.

Today the central government has started taking measures to prevent corona in urban and rural areas. The Union Health Ministry has issued SOP (Guidelines) to prevent and manage Covid-19 in urban, rural, and tribal areas.

It includes health infrastructure for the management of Covid at the rural level, among other measures related to the Corona epidemic. The focus is on monitoring, screening, home, and community-based quarantines, and planning.

The number of districts with high infection rate decreased.

The continuation of the decline in corona infection rate in the country continues. The infection rate has remained below 20 percent for the last five days.

In four days, the number of districts with more than 10 percent infection rate has come down from 533 to 516, but the increase in new cases in 316 districts is a cause for concern.

According to the government, the infection rate was 21.9 percent last week, which has come down to 19.8 percent this week. However, since May 3, the infection rate had started declining.

Decreases in infection rates have been reported in 18 states and union territories. States like Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Delhi, Daman & Diu, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh have seen the biggest decline in infection rates.

If the infection rate is decreasing then the recovery rate is increasing. Recovery rates have improved in 18 states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar.

On May 3, where the average recovery rate across the country was 81.70 percent, it has now risen to 83.83 percent.

The central government said that the situation is coming to a standstill and the government is working towards improving the situation further.

Government issued guidelines: In some states, the situation is getting better, many are causing concern and, in some cases, increasing.

This trend of decline in the number of active patients has been going on for the last 12 days. In the second wave, active cases had reached close to 40 lakhs, which have now come to close to 36 lakhs.

The recovery rate is increasing and the death rate is stable, which is a big achievement.

States like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, where the number of cases is very high, but active cases are falling.

However, cases have also started increasing in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, North East and Karnataka, Kerala, and some southern states.

The Center is constantly in touch with the states and has given suggestions to deal with it.
