She is the 16th student aspiring to enroll in medicine who has committed suicide.

Referring to the passing of the bill in the Assembly on Monday, a day earlier, Stalin said, “From the very beginning we have been opposing NEET.

It is sabotaging the dreams of Tamil Nadu students to get a medical education. With the passing of the bill, we have started the legal battle in full force. All parties have supported BJP.

He said that there will be no settlement till the removal of NEET after taking the assent of the bill from President Ram Nath Kovind.

Provision has been made in the bill to enroll in medical courses on the basis of 12th marks.

More than 15 lakh students appeared in the examination.

Let us inform you that on Sunday, more than 15 lakh students had appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to medical courses.

Following the Corona protocol, this exam was conducted at more than 3,800 centers across the country.

A senior official had said that this year a record 16.14 lakh students had registered for NEET, out of which more than 95 percent appeared in the examination.
