Kiren Rijiju wrote on his X account that please do not mislead innocent Muslims outside our country. India is a democratic country and people have the right to express their opinion. On September 8, Zakir Naik appealed to the Muslims of the country to oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. Kiren Rijiju also shared three videos. In one of these, people are being appealed to give their opinion against the Waqf Amendment Bill.

Zakir Naik said- Reject the Waqf Bill

Zakir Naik wrote on his X account that Indians should protect Waqf properties, and reject the Waqf Amendment Bill! Let us all together protect the sanctity of Waqf and ensure its preservation for future generations. Referring to the Hadith, Zakir Naik wrote, “If people see any evil and do not change it, soon Allah will send his punishment on all of them”

Fugitive Zakir Naik: ‘If the bill is passed, we will bear the wrath of Allah’

Naik continued, saying that there is a pressing need for Muslims in India to put an end to this wickedness that undermines the Waqf’s hallowed status and jeopardizes the survival of Islamic institutions. If we allow this bill to pass, we will bear the wrath of Allah and the curse of future generations. He said stop the evil or bear its responsibility in this life and the next!

50 lakh Muslims should protest

Zakir Naik said that at least 50 lakh Muslims in India should reject the Waqf Amendment Bill. If the Muslims of India are unable to stop the Waqf properties from being taken away from the Ummah, then we will be held accountable for this. Along with this, he has also attached a QR code with his post. Through this, he appealed to the people to send their opinions to the parliamentary committee.
