Former Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla Arrested

Former Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla and OSD Pradeep were arrested in a corruption case in judicial custody.

Former Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singla and his OSD Pradeep Kumar, who was arrested in a corruption case, were produced in the district court on Friday.

The court has sent both the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.

On behalf of the police, a petition was filed in the court to take the voice samples of Singla and OSD Pradeep Kumar, which was accepted by the court.

Before being produced in the court, Vijay Singla was given medical treatment at the government hospital in Phase-6 by the police.

During this, in a conversation with the journalists, Singla said that I have full faith in my party and the court. I will get justice.

At the same time, Singla’s police remand was demanded on behalf of the government side in the court.

Singla is accused that while being the Health Minister, he benefited from the running of the drug de-addiction center of his relative. The police also wanted to question Singla in this case.

Let us tell you that the former Health Minister Dr. Vijay Singla and his OSD are accused of demanding a bribe of one crore 16 lakh rupees in lieu of 58 crores.

The complainant, Superintendent Engineer Rajinder Kumar had given the statement to the police. After this, both the accused were arrested by the Anti Corruption Cell.

The complainant has alleged that the minister had called him in room number 203 of Punjab Bhawan. After which the minister called him to the secretariat.

Due to the non-preparation of Vijay Singla’s Kothi, he was living in room number 203 of Punjab Bhawan.

The minister was sacked after the matter came to the notice of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

In this case complainant, SE Rajinder Singh said that Minister Vijay Singla through his OSD Pradeep Kumar was pressurizing him for a bribe.

The special thing is that the OSD of the minister Pradeep Kumar is his nephew.
