Floods in Telangana: NDRF team has been deployed to rescue people.

There is a flood situation in Telangana due to heavy rains. In view of this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has appealed to the party workers in the state to provide all possible help.

Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “I stand with the brothers and sisters of Telangana.

I appeal to the Congress workers to extend all possible help in the relief and rescue operation.” Still, a heavy rain warning has been issued there so please take care and stay safe.

Many villages have been completely submerged in water due to the rain that has been pouring in for the past several days. NDRF team has been deployed to rescue people trapped in their homes due to floods.

Floods in Telangana: There is a red alert in Kumuram Bheem, Jagtial, Warangal, while an orange alert has been issued in nine districts of the state.

On Thursday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to deploy NDRF teams at Nirmal Town.

The NDRF today rescued seven people trapped in an old age home due to floods in Sawel village of Nizamabad district.

Let us inform you that the Meteorological Department has issued warnings for many more days of rain. The Nirmal city of Telangana is completely in the grip of floods.

Floods in Telangana: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain in 12 districts of Telangana on Friday.

Villages in Nirmal, Adilabad, and Nizamabad districts are in the grip of floods due to heavy rains in Telangana for the past several days. Water has reached inside the houses in the city.

In low-lying areas, the ground floors are completely submerged in water. In view of the rising water level, people are being evacuated from the affected areas to safer places.

Cases of the Zika virus are being reported every day in Kerala.

On Thursday also three new cases have been registered here, after which the total number of cases here has gone up to 44.

Kerala Health Minister Veena George’s office said on Thursday, ‘Three more people in Kerala have tested positive for Zika virus. The total number of Zika virus cases in the state is 44.

Earlier, George had said that activities like fogging for mosquitoes against the disease would be intensified in the affected areas.

The minister had said, “We have developed a meticulous plan and have decided to intensify vector control activities and fogging.

Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation has intensified the activities and the district administration will also be a part of it and will coordinate all the departments.
