The first Agniveer recruitment rally under the Agneepath scheme for the Indian Army in Kerala began in Kozhikode on Sunday.

The rally is scheduled to be held till October 10 and candidates from 7 districts of North Kerala namely Kozhikode, Kasaragod, Kannur, Malappuram, Palaghat, Thrissur, and Wayanad will appear for the selection process.

Online admit cards were issued to the candidates and they have been called district-wise and category-wise.

According to a report in the leading newspaper of the country, on average 2,000 to 3,000 candidates are being called for the rally every day.

Defense PRO has issued a statement regarding this. The Kozhikode district administration is providing all assistance required for the successful conduct of the rally, the statement said.
