First Phase Of Voting In Uttar Pradesh Tomorrow: UP Election 2022

First phase of voting in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, nine ministers of the Yogi government will also be tested: UP Election 2022.

For the formation of the eighteenth assembly in Uttar Pradesh, the first phase of voting will be held on 10 February i.e. Thursday.

In the first phase, voting will be held in 58 seats in 11 districts of western Uttar Pradesh and the Braj region from 7 am to 6 pm on Thursday.

The districts where polling will be held in the first phase are Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, and Agra.

Polling parties will leave on Wednesday for the first phase of polling.

Additional CEO Brahm Dev Ram Tiwari said that the Election Commission has given instructions to make necessary preparations for conducting the elections in a fair, free, transparent, and safe manner.

Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will begin on Thursday. Tomorrow under the first phase, the future of candidates in 58 seats in 11 districts of western Uttar Pradesh will be locked in the voting machine.

The results will come together on March 10. In the last assembly elections, the BJP had won 53 out of 58 seats.

In view of the anti-agriculture law movement, the BJP is facing a tough challenge from the SP and RLD alliance in western Uttar Pradesh.

A total of 623 candidates are in the fray in the first phase, while 810 candidates had filed their nominations.

The maximum number of 15-15 candidates are in Muzaffarnagar and Mathura seats. At least five candidates are in the Iglas (Reserved) seat of Aligarh.

In the last assembly elections, out of 58 seats in the first phase, 53 were won by BJP, two each by SP and BSP, and one by Rashtriya Lok Dal.

In the first phase, nine ministers of the Yogi government will also be tested.

These include Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Minister Suresh Rana, Livestock Minister Laxmi Narayan Choudhary, Energy Minister Shrikant Sharma.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education and Skill Development Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State for Health Atul Garg.

Minister of State for Finance and Medical Education Sandeep Singh, Society. Minister of State for Welfare GS Dharmesh.

Minister of State for Forests Anil Sharma, Minister of State for Jal Shakti, and Flood Control Dinesh Khatik are involved.

Avtar Singh Bhadana, who played a long inning in politics, Chaudhary Babu Lal, and Baby Rani Maurya, who was the Governor of Uttarakhand, will also be tested in the first phase.

In this phase, there will also be an interesting battle on the Kairana seat.

On Tuesday, the last day of campaigning for the first phase, all political parties gave full force.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held public meetings in support of BJP candidates in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in Muzaffarnagar.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Vadra sought votes for party candidates in Meerut, Agra, and Mathura.

RLD President Jayant Chaudhary mobilized public support in Aligarh and Hapur, while SDSP President Omprakash Rajbhar reached Meerut.
