FIFA World Cup 2022: Argentina’s team will have fewer forwards than Brazil in the World Cup.

Argentina’s team will take nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards for the World Cup in Qatar.

Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni’s team is aiming to achieve Copa America’s success. Scaloni announced a squad of 26 players with two forwards less than rivals Brazil.

Argentina won the Copa America in 2021, their first major trophy in 28 years. 21 players in the World Cup team are going to play in Copa America.

Lionel Messi’s team has not faced defeat in the last 35 matches.

Messi (35 years old) will play in his fifth World Cup and in all likelihood, it will be his last World Cup.

He is accompanied by other experienced strikers Angel Di Maria (34), defender Nicolas Otamendi (34), and goalkeeper Franco Armani (36).

Argentina has also included forward Lautaro Martinez and midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

Argentina will start its campaign in Qatar on 22 November against Saudi Arabia. Teams from Mexico and Poland are also included in Group C.

Goalkeepers: Emiliano Martinez, Geronimo Rulli, Franco Armani.

Defenders: Nahuel Molina, Gonzalo Mantiel, Marcos Acuna, Cristian Romero, Germán Pejella, Nicolas Otamendi, Lisandro Martinez, Nicolas Tagliafico.

Midfielders: Rodrigo de Paul, Leandro Paredes, Alexis Mac Allister, Guido Rodriguez, Papu Gómez, Enzo Fernandez, Exaquel Palacios.

Forwards: Angel Di Maria, Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, Julian Alvarez, Paulo Dybala, Nicolas Gonzalez, Lionel Messi.

Fifa World Cup 2022: Uruguay’s team announced, Suarez and Cavani got the place.

Uruguay coach Diego Alonso announced the squad for the Football World Cup in Qatar on Thursday, which includes strikers Louis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and other experienced players.

Both Suarez and Cavani are 35 years old and this will likely be their fourth and final World Cup.

Three other experienced members have been included in the team, including goalkeeper Fernando Muslera and defenders Diego Godin and Martín Cáceres.
