Today farmers’ India is closed. Farmers are protesting in many states of the country including Punjab, Bihar, bordering Delhi, regarding the Bharat Bandh.
Apart from farmers, Bharat Bandh is supported by many political parties and social organizations.
Samyukta Kisan Morcha, a body of more than 40 farmers’ organizations leading the farmers’ movement against the three agricultural laws, has called for a Bharat Bandh today.
Many social organizations and political parties have supported the Bharat Bandh.
During this, farmers are protesting along the borders of Delhi like Ghazipur, Singhu, Shambhu border. Roads have been blocked in many places.
Due to this traffic has also been diverted. Apart from this, protests are also taking place in many states.
Farmers will stop everything except emergency service during this period. Regarding Bharat Bandh, it has been decided that during this time farmers will protest on roads and highways.
There will be a demonstration in front of government offices. Due to Bharat Bandh, many roads have been closed in Delhi and routes have been diverted in many places.
Angry farmers returned Delhi Congress chief.
Some agitating farmers at the Ghazipur border asked Delhi Congress chief Anil Chaudhary to leave their protest site. He had come to join them.
Farmers’ organizations have called for Bharat Bandh today over three agricultural laws.
After this, BKU leader Praveen Malik has said that we told him that we thank him for his support during the bandh but we have a non-political protest and platform.
We had earlier announced that we will not allow political parties on our platform. So we requested them to protest at a distance from our site. We are not opposing.
Delhi Congress President Anil Chaudhary has said that I can understand his position. This is the issue of farmers, Congress will take to the streets.
If the farmers ask us to leave, we will go back. We have come here for farmers, there is no political agenda.
