Farmer organizations’ split ‘to stop trains, most organizations are not ready: Rail Roko Kisan Andolan.

Farmers of several states including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh continue to protest on all four borders of Delhi-NCR (Shahjahanpur, Singh, Tekri, and Ghazipur), demanding the repeal of the three Central Agricultural Laws.

Meanwhile, there is a feeling of confusion among the farmer organizations regarding the rail roko movement to be held on Thursday.

Most organizations disagree

At the same time, farmers’ organizations have announced to stop the rail from twelve o’clock to four o’clock on Thursday afternoon against the central agricultural laws.

However, differences have emerged in this regard among the farmer’s organizations and it is being said to stop the train symbolically.

Despite this, police-administration and Railways have made extensive preparations. Security has been increased in Singhu, Tikri, and other places where protesters are sitting.

Local people will stop rail, will get refreshments

Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, said that the local people will stop the train in their respective areas. Symbolically trains will be stopped.

During this, the driver will be given a flower with a wreath on the engine and the passengers will be served a snack.

He said that the purpose of the train stop program is to get the trains started. No person from the picket at UP Gate will attend the event.

At the same time, the security of railway stations, tracks has been increased. About 20 thousand additional personnel of Railway Protection Special Force have been deployed. If necessary, rail operations in the affected areas will be stopped.

People coming to Delhi-NCR may face problems

People of Delhi-NCR may have to face problems through trains. It is being told that trains will be stopped from 12 noon to 4 pm on Thursday. This may delay the arrival of trains coming to Delhi in the evening.
