Farmer Leaders See The Movement Stagger, Not Getting Support

Farmer leaders see the movement stagger, not getting support from other states.

The agitating farmer leaders are now seen to be stifling their agitation demanding the repeal of the three central agricultural laws.

They are not getting the support of farmers as expected from other states. For this reason, they are calling the farmers of Punjab on the Singhu border.

Not many farmers from Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan are participating in the movement.

In such a situation, in order to surround Delhi and pressurize the Center, the farmer leaders are appealing to the platform to call farmers from Punjab.

Member of the United Kisan Morcha, Dr. Darshan Pal has also appealed to at least 10 youth from every village in Punjab to march towards Delhi.

Demonstration continued on 17th day

The dharna protests continued for the 17th consecutive day at the Singhu Border. The number of protesters remained the same as in the previous day.

Tractor-trolleys were seen standing on the border for six-seven kilometers. Englishman Singh, a farmer sitting in the trolley, said that now this battle is not about victory and defeat.

In this fight, he is fighting for the children. He said that on the pretext of contract farming, the government would take away their land from them.

If their land is occupied by the government, then where will their children cultivate. Those people will stay here until the laws are canceled in Ace

Farmers are unable to go back even after wishing

Farmer Parminder Singh, who came from Ludhiana, said that a member of his family is ill. In such a situation, it is very important to go to their house.

He told that many farmers of his village are stuck here so they are not able to go home even if they want to.

Movement is not ending due to stubbornness

Farmer Sukhwinder from Patiala said that his family had a marriage, in which he could not attend. This will always rub them.

On asking him why the movement is not being ended despite the proposal of amendment from the government, he says that both sides are adamant.

Neither the government is bowing down nor the farmers’ organization. Due to this, there is no solution to the movement. It is very important to solve this.
