England fast bowler James Anderson shows something new every day. He achieved a special feat by bowling brilliantly in the second innings of the first Test match of the four-match series being played against India.

In this match, the 38-year-old fast bowler overtook all the fast bowlers of the world. Anderson did this amazingly by bowling India’s young batsman Shubman Gill cleanly.

In the first Test of the four-match series against India, James Anderson of England took two big wickets in the same over in the second innings.

First bowled Shubman Gill and then uprooted the stumps of vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane on 2 balls with almost the same ball.

Anderson achieved a special feat with two wickets in the same over. He became the highest wicket-taker after the age of 30.

Anderson left Walsh behind

After the age of 30, Anderson has surpassed all the veterans in terms of getting the most wickets. In the last 8 years, this bowler has taken a total of 346 wickets to his name.

Courtney Walsh of the West Indies had a record of 341 wickets after 30 years. Anderson broke Walsh’s record with Ajinkya Rahane bowling.

In this list, Glenn McGrath of Australia is third with 287 wickets. New Zealand’s Richard Hadlee has 276 wickets.

Highest wicket-taker

Anderson is the highest Test wicket-taker. After taking the third wicket in the second innings of the Chennai Test, he had 611 wickets in his account.

Anderson is the world’s first fast bowler to take 600 wickets in Test cricket. He broke McGrath’s record of 563 wickets in Australia.

Pakistan’s team has achieved great success by sweeping South Africa in the home Test series. Pakistan defeated South Africa by 95 runs in the last match of the two-match series.

With a 2–0 win in the series, Pakistan jumped two places in the ICC Test rankings. The team has now moved up to 5th place from seventh. New Zealand’s team occupies first place.
