ENG vs SA ODI: Ben Stokes’ ODI farewell with defeat, South Africa beat by 62 runs.

ENG vs SA ODI: Chasing 334 runs for victory, England’s team started well and Jason Roy and Bairstow shared a 102-run partnership for the first wicket.

It seemed that the team would be able to gift Ben Stokes with a win in the last ODI match but after that wickets kept falling at frequent intervals and the team could not even play the full 50 overs.

England’s team could only manage 271 runs thanks to Root’s 83, Bairstow’s 63, and Roy’s 43, and the team suffered another defeat under the captaincy of Jos Buttler.

This was the last ODI match of Ben Stokes’ career and the England team wanted to win this match at any cost but their batsmen did not support the team.

However, even Ben Stokes could not do much in this last ODI match. His last innings ended on a personal score of just 5 runs.
