Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa gave a grand welcome to PM Modi, guard of honor given at the airport.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa gave a grand welcome to PM Modi, guard of honor was given at the airport: Two day tour starting today.

Actually, PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Egypt from Saturday. During this, PM Modi will visit the 11th century Al-Hakim Mosque in the capital Cairo.

He will spend about half an hour in the mosque. Here he will meet the Dawoodi Bohra community. PM Modi has a special connection with this community.

It is noteworthy that this historic mosque is named after the 16th Fatimid Caliph al-Hakim Amr Allah (985-1021).

The mosque was originally built by Caliph al-Aziz Billah, the father of al-Hakim-Amr Allah, in the late 10th century. Later in the year 1013, Al-Hakim completed its construction work.

PM Modi will also visit the Heliopolis Martyr’s Memorial, where he will pay homage to Indian soldiers who died in World War I.

PM Modi will also hold talks with the India unit of a group of ministers in Egypt before meeting President al-Sisi.
