Drugs case: summons sent to Deepika Padukone’s manager, KWAAN employees, yet to appear before NCB

In the drugs case, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has sent summons to the employees of KWAAN Talent Agency for questioning.

Simultaneously, NCB said that Karishma Prakash, the manager of actress Deepika Padukone, had already been summoned in the case, but has not received any response till now and is still out of reach.

Karishma had applied for anticipatory bail

Let us tell you that NCB raided Karishma’s house. During this time some amount of hasisha (drugs) was found from his house.

Karisma was then called for questioning again, but she has not yet appeared before the NCB for questioning. Significantly, he has also filed an application for anticipatory bail in the court.

24 people arrested in drugs case

Actually, the drugs angle came to light after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. During this time, the Narcotics Control Bureau is taking continuous action. So far 24 arrests have been made in this case.

It has arrested people like actress Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shouvik Chakravarti, manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, Samuel Miranda Deepesh Sawant, a peddler, Zaid, Basit Parihar. Riya and Samuel have been granted bail by the court.

Let us tell you that from the AIIMS report in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, it is clear that the actor had committed suicide, although the NCB is still investigating the drug angle that came up during the investigation of his case.

NCB has also questioned Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan in this case.

However, the NCB found no evidence of drug-taking against anyone. At present, the inquiry is going on in the drugs case.
