Double Attack Of Corona And Swine Flu In Delhi

Double attack of corona and swine flu in Delhi; Patients getting admitted to the hospital, oxygen level falling to dangerous levels.

The national capital Delhi is also witnessing a significant increase in swine flu cases amid rising cases of the corona.

Doctors say that the cases of swine flu have increased in Delhi, due to which the number of patients admitted to the hospital is increasing.

Swine flu is a respiratory infection caused by influenza strains found in pigs. Swine flu is caused by the H1N1 virus strain. It was first recognized in the 1919 pandemic.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared it a pandemic in 2009. However, the WHO said in August 2010 that it was no longer a pandemic.

After the pandemic ended, the H1N1 flu virus became one of the strains that caused the seasonal flu.

Double attack of corona and swine flu in Delhi: Now health experts are seeing increased cases of swine flu apart from corona in Delhi. Doctors say that many patients need to be admitted to the hospital.

Dr. Vikas Maurya, Director and HOD (Pulmonology) of Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh has told the news agency that some patients may require Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).

Oxygen requirements of such patients are greatly increased and may not be adequately met even with ventilator support.

It is worth noting that the symptoms of both corona and swine flu are similar as both are viruses associated with a respiratory infection.

Coronavirus In India: Don’t ignore Coronavirus yet, VK Paul expressed concern.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have increased in many states of our country. Cases of coronavirus have started increasing in many states including Delhi, and Maharashtra.

However, today most people have stopped following the Covid protocol issued by the World Health Organization and the Government of India to avoid the corona epidemic.

According to the news agency, expressing concern over this matter, NITI Aayog member (health) VK Pal said, ‘Coronavirus is still present among us. We cannot predict the increasing cases of the corona.
