Bradman, who played a total of 52 Test matches for Australia, scored 6996 runs in 80 innings at an extraordinary average of 99.94. Bradman has 29 centuries and 13 half-centuries to his name. During this, he scored two triple centuries. He was the first cricketer in the world to do so. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag came close to breaking this record of Bradman in 2009. He missed just 7 runs to score his third triple century against Sri Lanka.

Record of most double centuries

Bradman holds the record for making the most double centuries in a name test. He has scored over 200 runs in total 12 times. Second in this list comes the name of Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, who has 11 double centuries in his name.
