Doctor G: Rakul Preet Singh’s first lookout, the actress worked so hard to become a doctor.

Rakul Preet Singh will be sharing a screen with Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time in Junglee Pictures’ campus comedy-drama ‘Doctor Ji’.

Shefali Shah will also be seen in this film along with Ayushmann and Rakul. The makers recently released the first look of Rakul.

The poster has been shared on Junglee Pictures’ Instagram account. In the poster, Rakul is seen in a very simple look, who is wearing a white coat over the clothes, which is the identity of the doctors.

It has also been informed in the poster that Rakul’s name will be Dr. Fatima in the film.

Let us tell you that to play the character of Fatima, Rakul had to learn the nuances of medical terminology and some important surgical procedures.

The makers took the help of experts to show everything related to medicine in a precise and accurate way.

Talking about the film and her character, Rakul says, “Shooting for Doctor Ji has been an interesting experience.

Since I am playing a doctor, it was important to be precise in demeanor and action. To look real on-screen, it was necessary to learn important things related to the medical world.

The journey of becoming Doctor Fatima was an amazing process that I will always cherish.

The actress further said, ‘We wanted Fatima to look authentic. We did several look tests to get the perfect look.

Just by wearing the doctor’s coat, you suddenly feel a sense of responsibility, even though I was playing only one character.

While treating patients for scenes, one can really understand how much responsibility rests on the shoulders of doctors and how difficult their lives are.

Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, ‘Doctor Ji’ is a campus comedy drama co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat.

The makers have recently completed a shooting schedule in Prayagraj and the film will be completed by the end of this month.
