DMK Started Campaigning For Assembly Elections In Tamil Nadu

DMK started campaigning for assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, on the other hand, the Election Commission has also started preparations, officials will take stock of the preparations.

Sources said that the general secretary of the Election Commission Umesh Sinha will be in Tamil Nadu on Monday and Tuesday and will reach Puducherry on Wednesday.

He will take stock of the preparations for the election there and meet officials.

It is known that before the Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners visit the state, senior officials of the Election Commission inspect various preparations, including the voter list.

Last week, Deputy Election Commissioner Sudeep Jain was visiting West Bengal under this exercise.

It is known that the term of the Legislative Assemblies of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry is being completed between May and June next year.

Elections are expected to be held in these states between April and June. Meanwhile, the DMK has launched an election campaign against the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.

DMK raised issues like agriculture and education and appealed to the people to defeat AIADMK. According to the news agency, DMK chief MK Stalin said in Chennai that our goal is to get more than 200 seats.

According to the news agency report, DMK chief MK Stalin said in a video that senior party workers would visit more than 16 thousand villages and wards to organize ‘gram sabhas’.

Proposals against the AIADMK government will be accepted during this election campaign. Out of power since 2011, the DMK is trying its best to return to power.
