Discussion within senior Congress leaders on the current situation and ways to strengthen the party.

On Saturday at 10 Janpath residence of the interim President of Congress Party, Sonia Gandhi, held a meeting with senior party leaders.

In the wake of assembly elections in Assam and Kerala, Congress took a major decision.

Under this, three secretaries have been appointed in Kerala and Assam who will assist in the work of the general secretaries in charge of the states.

Giving this information, party general secretary KC Venugopal said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi has appointed him with immediate effect.

The Congress has appointed MLAs Anirudh Singh (MLA Anirudh Singh), Vikas Upadhyay, Prithviraj Prabhakar Sathe (Prithviraj Prabhakar Sathe) as AICC Secretary in Assam.

Apart from this, former MP P Vishwanath, former MLC Ivan D’Souza, PV Mohan have been appointed as Congress Secretary in Kerala.

They will support the general secretaries of the states.

Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that we had discussion regarding the future of the party.

It was a constructive discussion in which senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi discussed the current state of the party and ways to strengthen it.

In a meeting with the President, Ashok Gehlot, Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma (Anand Sharma), BS Hooda, Ambika Soni, P Chidambaram Many other senior leaders attended.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also joined it.

Apart from this, the leaders of the party were present in the meeting today, who had written a letter to Sonia Gandhi four months ago and questioned the party leadership.

The possibility of this meeting was raised that the purpose of this meeting called in the midst of the peasant movement is also to formulate a strategy regarding the political situation.

According to sources, the date for the election of the new president of the Congress has not been announced yet.

Before this, Sonia Gandhi is meeting with senior party leaders to prevent the situation like the upsurge and rebellion in the election.

At the same time, it is also expected that in these meetings, there will be a consultation on the issue of encircling the government.

It is noteworthy that the election of Congress President is proposed in late January next year.

From the statements of Randeep Surjewala and other party leaders, there is a clear indication that Rahul Gandhi can be handed over the command of Congress again.

It remains to be seen how the leaders of the disgruntled group stand on the issue of being elected president from the Gandhi family.

Sources said that the party’s election authority chief Madhusudan Mistry organization has almost prepared the database and identity card of the AICC members who voted in the election.
