All India Congress Committee (AICC) Goa in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao attacked the BJP fiercely while addressing a press conference. He alleged that within the last six years, why did not the IT, ED raid against BJP leaders.
He said that every day we see that the ED is conducting raids on the income tax opposition parties, but why the raids were not conducted against the BJP leaders.
Addressing a press conference, Rao said, “BJP’s sentiments are hurting because the party or government’s programs no longer matter. The economy has collapsed, our borders are in danger, our foreign policy has collapsed.
And we are friendless in our neighborhood, have no fear. ” At the same time, there is no protection for women and Dalits’. He said, ‘We see the ED doing income tax raids on opposition parties.
Show me a BJP leader in the last six years who has been issued a notice by any enforcement agencies’.
He further said that many state governments remained at the top and crores of rupees were spent in such efforts. IT and ED do not know what is happening.
CBI does not know what is happening? Rao said that this “country is run by capitalists in connivance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. He said, “This is not democracy.
This country is run by big capitalists in connivance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They are using the human and natural resources of this country to make a profit. Which is a disastrous situation.”
Significantly, Dinesh Gundu Rao wrote a letter last year about the Income Tax raid on Congress leaders in Karnataka of the Election Commission, Central Board of Direct Taxes, and President Kovind.
He had said that before the Lok Sabha, just before the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka, why are the raids conducted by the Congress, JDU candidates, leaders and their supporters.
He further wrote that the party in power at the Center is misusing the office of Commissioner of Income Tax of Karnataka and Goa Circle, whose integrity is doubtful and who is unkind to the Congress and JD (S). All these officers are acting as agents of the BJP because of their actions.
