Diesel becomes expensive once again, no change in petrol prices, know the latest rate: Petrol-Deisel Price.

On 26 September i.e. on Sunday, the prices of diesel once again saw an increase. The price of diesel has been increased by 25 paise per litre.

According to the price notification of the government-owned retailers, the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 89.07 per liter in Delhi and Rs 96.68 per liter in Mumbai.

However, there is no change in the prices of petrol and it costs Rs 101.19 in Delhi and Rs 107.26 per liter in Mumbai.

Government-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) had resumed daily price revision on September 24.

Due to this, there has been an increase in the prices of diesel.

On September 24 also, the price of diesel was increased by 20 paise per liter. However, there was no change in petrol prices even at that time.

Meanwhile, global benchmark Brent crude has risen to $77.50 per barrel.

Compared to the average prices during August, the price of petrol and diesel in the international market has increased by around $6-7 per barrel this month.

However, the oil companies, which have to revise the prices daily to match the cost, did not change the prices for almost three weeks.

Diesel becomes expensive once again: Now again the oil companies have increased the prices.

Average international crude oil prices had fallen by more than USD 3 per barrel in August as compared to the month of July.

Due to which the retail prices of petrol and diesel in the Delhi market were reduced by Rs 0.65 per liter and Rs 1.25 per liter by the oil companies from July 18. Earlier, on September 5, the prices were reduced.

Earlier, between May 4 and July 17, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 11.44 per liter.

Along with this, the price of diesel was also increased by Rs 9.14. During this period, petrol prices in many parts of the country had reached Rs 100 per liter.
