Devendra Fadnavis and Sanjay Raut may meet new gulls, politics stirred by BJP leader Praveen Darekar’s statement. The one-and-a-half-hour meeting of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday in a five-star hotel has created a storm of speculation.
However, both Raut and BJP have said that the political implications of this meeting should not be removed. However, Praveen Darekar, a close leader of Fadnavis, has stressed speculations by saying that anything can happen in politics. Raut and Fadnavis met for over an hour and a half.
Before the meeting, the information was kept secret from both the parties. When the matter became public, Raut clarified that he wanted to interview Fadnavis for the Sena mouthpiece Saamana. Went to meet him in this regard.
Please tell that Raut is the executive editor of Saamana. Later, BJP spokesperson Keshav Upadhyay said that Fadnavis had asked to interview Saamana after the Bihar elections on the condition that his talk be published without editing it.
Both Upadhyay and Raut have said that the political implications of this meeting should not be removed, but Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Council Pravin Darekar has said that anything is possible in politics. Darekar is a leader of a serious nature. His statement also cannot be ignored.
Since the last assembly election in Maharashtra, the relationship between BJP and Shiv Sena is not going well. The result of this is that the Shiv Sena, which contested with the BJP, formed a government with the Congress-NCP after the results. This coalition government is not pleased with the BJP. Be it the case of killing of saints in Palghar or the suspected death of Sushant Singh Rajput, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to attack the Shiv Sena.
However, the BJP is not very vocal about the failure of the coalition government in the Corona era. But, there is no guarantee that this issue will not arise during any upcoming election. There are many political issues, including the Agriculture Bill passed four days ago, on which Shiv Sena has no coordination with Congress and NCP. Despite this, he has to run a government with these two parties together.
The brunt of this contradiction is being borne by the Shiv Senas, who have been fighting the Congress-NCP for a long time, more than the leaders at the top. This contradiction at the time of elections can cause huge damage to the Shiv Sena at the ground level. After the assembly elections, Raut’s role was instrumental in forming a government with NCP and Congress. Currently, Rajya Sabha member Raut is considered the architect of the coalition government.
A few days ago, Raut had tweeted and hinted at improving BJP-Shiv Sena relations. Now the question is arising whether this meeting is an attempt to take the relationship of the two parties to the level of re-alliance. After this meeting, State BJP President Chandrakant Dada Patil has also raised the question saying that we will not try to topple the present government. But if it falls due to its own contradictions, what will happen next
