A young man named Ankit Kumar Jha was watching a video of Nupur Sharma on his mobile at a paan shop in the market of Bahera Zahidpur village of Nanpur police station area.

The fundamentalists did not like to see this video of him. He did not want Ankit to watch Nupur Sharma’s video and discuss it further.

Three youths standing at the paan shop got angry with him and started throwing cigarette smoke on Ankit’s face.

When Ankit retaliated, the three youths started attacking him with knives.

Ankit got frightened by the sudden attack and started running to save his life, but the jihadis ran to the middle of the market and continued to attack him with knives.

Ankit, who was injured by a knife, kept shouting for help, but no one came forward to help him.

Blood-soaked Ankit has been admitted to the local PHC for treatment, where doctors referred him to Darbhanga in view of his critical condition.

Ankit is struggling between life and death in the ICU of a private hospital in Darbhanga.

At the same time, the police did not register a case in this matter until the family members of the youth removed Nupur Sharma’s name from the copy of the FIR.

For the last three days, Ankit and his entire family are living in the shadow of panic.

He says that even today he is being threatened, due to which he is very scared. Meanwhile, many relatives of Ankit have left the village fearing something untoward.

In this regard, Pupri DSP Vinod Kumar said that two people have been arrested in this case, and others who are absconding will be caught soon.
