David Warner Created A New Record In The Test Cricket

David Warner created a new record in the case of being dismissed for zero in Test, leaving Michael Slater behind.

In the first innings of the fifth match of the Ashes Test Series 2021-22, Australian opener David Warner lost his wicket without opening an account.

David Warner faced 22 balls in this match and during this, he did not manage to score a single run.

In the end, he handed his catch to Jack Crowley on the ball of Ollie Robinson. Now as an Australian opener in Test cricket, he has come second in terms of getting out for zero.

He broke the record of Michael Slater who had done so 9 times. Matthew Hayden is the batsman who got dismissed the most times for zero in Tests by the Kangaroo team, with whom this happened 14 times.

In the first innings of the fifth Test against England, the Australian team’s opening four batsmen were dismissed for just 84 runs.

Three wickets of this team had fallen for just 12 runs. After the dismissal of David Warner for zero.

The second opener batsman Usman Khawaja, who was in excellent form, could not do much and gave his catch to Joe Root off Stuart Broad on the score of just 6 runs.
