Cyclone Yaas: Yaas storm may take severe form, many states will be affected; Amit Shah and JP Nadda took command.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda will speak to MPs of all states on Monday where cyclone Yaas is likely to be affected. The meeting will be conducted through video conferencing at 5.30 pm today.

In this sequence, Amit Shah will also hold a meeting with Chief Ministers of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands through VC and review preparations for cyclone YAAS.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the preparations made for the upcoming cyclone after meeting with the Chief Ministers of the states.

Explain that given the risk of this cyclone, the armed force is fully prepared.

Depression was observed in the low pressure area formed in Bay of Bengal on Saturday morning and it turned into cyclone Yaas on Monday morning. This information was given by Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Director General of the Meteorological Department (India Meteorological Department, IMD).

According to the forecast by IMD, this cyclone will have a wind speed of 155-165 kmph and its speed can increase up to 185 kmph.

Mohapatra said, ‘This can take a horrific form. It will hit North Odisha coast through West Bengal on the evening of 26 May. ‘

Cyclone Yaas: Alert in many states regarding cyclone Yaas, Amit Shah will meet with chief ministers today

Home Minister Amit Shah will meet with the Chief Ministers of the states today to deal with the cyclone of Yas in the Bay of Bengal.

The HM will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and the Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands through video conferencing and review the preparations for the cyclone.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with senior government officials to review the preparedness of Cyclone Yaas.

In this meeting, Amit Shah attended the meeting with senior government officials and secretaries of NDMA, Telecommunications, Power, Civil Aviation, Earth Sciences Ministries to review preparations against cyclone YAS.
