All boats have been anchored at Jakhau, the biggest fishing port in Kutch, as the district administration has directed fishermen not to venture into the sea.

More than a thousand boats are standing on the shore at Jakhou port and the Indian Coast Guard is warning fishermen not to venture into the sea.

While government officials are visiting the coastal villages as per the instructions of the district administration, politicians are also visiting the people in their own way.

While Pradyumansinh Jadeja, MLA of this assembly constituency, also went to Jakhau and nearby villages and worshiped the sea deity.

The MLA worshiped the sea god with Mataji’s chunri and quince and prayed that the storm subsides and Kutch is not harmed.

Pradyumansinh Jadeja said, “All preparations have been made by the administration, local leaders and officials are also visiting the villages, and we also pray that this storm does not harm Kutch.”
