CVC: Prime Minister Modi said, we are trying to change the system created by lack and pressure in the last eight years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in a program to mark the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on Thursday.

During this, PM Modi launched the new ‘Grievance Management System’ portal of CVC.

According to the PMO, this portal is envisaged to provide end-to-end information to the citizens through regular updates on the status of their grievances.

During the launch of the portal, PM Modi said that Vigilance Week has started from the birth anniversary of Sardar Saheb.

Also said that Sardar Sahib’s entire life has been dedicated to honesty, transparency, and building public service inspired by it.

Prime Minister Modi also awarded prizes to five students who wrote the best essay during the nationwide essay competition organized by CVC on this topic.

‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ is celebrated every year.

CVC observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year to bring all stakeholders together to spread the message of integrity in every walk of life.

This year the event is being celebrated from 31 October to 6 November with the theme ‘Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation.
