Covid gave us a chance to reset before Restart, urban centers will have to rejuvenate: PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ‘3rd Annual Bloomberg New Economy Forum’ through video conferencing.

Prime Minister Modi spoke on various issues during his address in this forum.

He said that the Covid-19 pandemic gave the world a chance to reset before restarting.

He said that the ‘current Covid-19 epidemic showed the world that cities, which are also engines of development, are the weakest’.

PM Modi said, ‘Covid-19 has given us an opportunity to reset before restarting. Now a good point to restart would be the rejuvenation of urban centers.

PM Modi said, ‘The lockdown faced worldwide resistance. But lockdown rules have been followed in Indian cities because the society in our cities is not just a place made of homes, but a community. ‘

PM Modi said, ‘Can we not build sustainable cities? In India, an attempt has been made to build such urban centers which have the facilities of the cities but have a feeling like villages.

Technology has helped us continue our work during the Covid-19 pandemic. ‘

PM Modi said, “The current Covid-19 epidemic showed the world that cities, which are also engines of development, are the weakest.”

Prime Minister Modi said that after the world wars, there were widespread changes in the whole world.

Covid-19 has provided us equal opportunities to develop new protocols in every sector. If we want to develop strong systems for the future, then we have to seize these opportunities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the government will provide one crore affordable houses before the 2022 deadline.
He said that two lakh crore rupees are being invested in 100 smart cities.

Prime Minister Modi said that out of these projects worth Rs 1.4 lakh crore have been completed or are about to be completed.

The Prime Minister’s Office has reported that the Bloomberg New Economic Forum was founded in 2018 by Michael Bloomberg.

The goal of this forum is to bring leaders from all over the world to a common platform of discussions to solve the world’s difficult economic challenges.

The first meeting of this forum was held in Singapore. At the same time, the second annual forum was held in Beijing.

Global economic management, trade and investment, technology, urbanization, capital markets, climate change and inclusion were discussed in these.
